What is Vocallie?

An AI voice agent that answers your phone, makes calls for you, and writes everything down — with the CRM, booking and follow-up work attached.

For: Everyone
On this page

Vocallie is an AI phone agent for your business. It picks up when someone calls you, and it calls people on your behalf. It talks — out loud, in a natural voice, in real time — and it can do the work that usually follows a phone call: book the appointment, log the lead, send the follow-up, update the pipeline.

You configure it in a web panel. There is no code, no phone-system wiring, and no call-flow diagram to draw.

The problem it solves

A ringing phone is the most expensive thing in a small business. Someone has to be there, awake, free, and knowledgeable — or the call goes to voicemail and the caller rings a competitor instead.

The usual answers all cost something:

  • A receptionist is paid for 8 hours a day and can hold one conversation at a time.
  • Voicemail loses most callers outright — most people simply don't leave one.
  • A phone menu ("press 1 for sales") frustrates callers and still can't answer a question.
  • A call centre is expensive, slow to brief, and rarely knows your prices.

Vocallie answers on the first ring, at 3am, on a Sunday, on twenty lines at once, and it knows your pricing because you told it once.

What it actually does

Answers inbound calls

Picks up your number, greets the caller, answers questions from your own knowledge base, and handles what comes next — book, transfer, take a message.

Makes outbound calls

One-off click-to-call, scheduled follow-ups, automatic callbacks, and bulk campaigns over a contact list.

Books appointments

Checks your real availability mid-conversation and writes the booking before the caller hangs up.

Runs your CRM

Every caller becomes a contact with a transcript, a summary, an outcome and a pipeline stage.

Automates the aftermath

Rules that fire when a call ends: create a follow-up, move a stage, add a note, ping your systems.

Reports on all of it

Volume, outcomes, sentiment, spend — plus a recording and a transcript of every single call.

Who it's for

Vocallie is built for businesses where the phone is the front door and nobody has time to guard it: clinics and salons, home services and trades, real-estate agents, agencies, e-commerce support desks, and multi-location teams.

It fits when you can describe your business in a few sentences and your calls are broadly repetitive — questions about services, prices, hours, availability, order status, and requests to book.

What it is not

Being straight about the edges saves you time:

  • It is not a robocall dialler. Outbound calling is rate-limited, calling-hours aware, and do-not-call aware, on purpose. Use it to reach your own contacts.
  • It is not a full-blown contact centre with supervisor barge-in and agent desktops.
  • It is not a replacement for your accounting or inventory system — but it can call into them with Actions and push events out with Webhooks.
  • It does not invent answers. If something isn't in the knowledge base, the agent says it doesn't know and offers to get a human — which is the correct behaviour, not a gap.

How the pieces fit together

Vocallie is one product, but internally it's five things stacked:

LayerWhat it means for you
The agentThe personality, the rules, and the voice that talks to your caller.
The knowledgeWhat it's allowed to say — your prices, policies, hours, FAQs.
The telephonyThe phone number(s) it answers on and dials out from.
The CRMWho called, what happened, what stage they're at, what's next.
The automationThe work that happens after a call without anyone touching it.

Most people set them up in exactly that order. The Quickstart walks the first three; the CRM and automation layers can wait until calls are actually landing.

You can test the whole thing — voice and all — in your browser before you buy a phone number or spend anything. See Testing your agent.
